Movers in San Francisco

Between Sacramento and San Francisco, there are a lot of people who need to move. And of course, there are a lot of moving companies willing to move them. Choosing San Francisco movers may not be an easy task with so many moving companies around, but you should always remember the basics when choosing any mover:
- Are they affiliated with a van line? If so, they are more likely to be legitimate and responsible.
- Do they have good reviews online?
- When you talk to them on the phone, do they sound professional and knowledgeable or do they dodge your questions?
- Are the licensed and insured?
- How long have they been in business?

There are many more factors that go into choosing between all the Bay Area moving companies, but these are the basics. A shady, fly-by-night mover is usually going to be evident by the way they answer your questions and give you a price quote. If they don't come out to do an in-home estimate, there's no way they can accurately give you a binding estimate on your move since they don't know exactly what you're moving. Most legitimate moving companies will come to your residence in order to make sure they know the exact weight and size of your relocation. Don't forget - if a quoted price seems to good to be true, it probably is.
